Fabulous Menu and Great Service

"Excellent Steaks, Good Wines. They have a speciality of cook yourself steaks on a hot stone but that is optional and we opted for kitchen done steaks: T-bone and fillet Mignon. Both of them done perfectly, very nice sauce and excellent veg. Very happy. Also enjoyed glasses of local red."

"Stayed here for 4 nights and ate dinner at the restaurant 3 times. My partner Tim and I enjoyed the variety on the menu - even though I had the hot rock steak twice 'cos it was so scrumptious! Truly great value for money and quality, with an extenstive local wine list. Peter and Bec are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble, both the restaurant and accommodation are superb!"

"Not only were the dishes generous they were mouth watering and delicious. The hosts - Peter & Bec Simpson struck up conversation with us as they went from table to table ensuring the guests were satisfied while their daughter Bethany served excellently proportioned and generous mixed drinks. This was not only a well run outfit - the personal touch is right just as if we were dining with really good friends. I would give ten out of ten for the very fresh food - the cooking - the service & enthusiasm - friendliness and the generosity of all the servings - it was without a doubt the best evening we have had in years."
